Marian Mexicanu’ is one of the greatest Romanian accordionist that takes further the heritage of the old lăutari from București, adapting, in the same time, with an artistic cleverness, to the music reality of today. His Taraf is composed of virtuosos that play traditional lăutărească instruments like cimbalom, clarinet, cobză, doublee bass. Marian Mexicanu’ is a show man that conquers instantly the audience – from a wedding to a big Philarmonic stage.
